Fatigue and Schedule
A player who has just come off a four-hour match the day before does not enter the next one in the same condition. The algorithm takes into account the time spent on the court over the past few days, time zones, and altitude. In Grand Slam tournaments, where matches are played in five sets, this factor of freshness becomes a decisive factor in the later rounds.
Betting Markets and Value in Tennis
Beyond picking the winner, tennis offers game handicaps, total games, and exact set scores.
